He Will Deliver You

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.”

Psalm 34:7 

I am reminded of the midwives who feared you in the first pages of Exodus as Moses’ birth story unfolds. The exact words “fear of God,” are used to describe their faith. Their faith to preserve the Hebrew baby boys from being killed. God used their action of faith to protect an entire generation, in turn, protecting the blessing and promise of the Hebrews being fruitful and multiplying. 

This is just one example of how the Lord delivers those who fear God. In other words, God carries those going through hard/trying times when they have faith in you. Fear the Lord, trust in Him. Have full assurance of hope, conviction of what you cannot see (Hebrews 11:1). Look for His angel that encamps around you during a difficult season. The Lord hears your cries, and He promises to deliver those who keep their faith in Him.
